SHORT CITATION PROFILE OF ELDER OGUNDARE ADEKUNLE JOHN
Ogundare Adekunle John was born into the family of Mr. Philips Ojo Ogundare on the 6th of september 1956 in Iloko-Ijesa, Ori-Ade LGA in the state of Osun. He lost his mother, Mrs. Beatrice Olatomide Ogundare, in 1958, when he was barely 2 years old.

Elder Ogundare started primary school in 1963 at the Authority (L.A) primary school, Iloko-Ijesa and completed his secondary school educaton at Fakunle Comprehensive High School, Oshogbo from 1975-1979.

He did his National Diploma in Accountancy at The Polytechnic, Ibadan from 1980-1982, he started Masters in Legal Studies, with specialization in Administrative Law and Public Policy at the Lagos State University, Ojo (LASU). He graduated in 2000 with MLS.

He became an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in August 1991 and also member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria  1994. After the  mandatory one year NYSC which was done in Obudu, Cross River State,he worked briefly in 1987 with Atunrase  Carpet Limited, Obanikoro, Lagos as the Finance/Administrative Manager, he has also worked in some other places before he joined Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) on the 4th of October  1993 as a level 12 Officer, that is, Principal Inspector of Taxes.

He retired as a Director on 6th September, 2016 having reached the compulsory retirement age of 60 years.
